Architectural Review Committee Information
FORT WORTH MEADOWS WEST NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION, INC.
Important information regarding the MEADOWS WEST Architectural Review Committee
As a homeowner, you may periodically have ideas on how you’d like to improve your property. Please note, the Association has an Architectural Review Committee (ARC) created to maintain the quality and aesthetic of our neighborhood. Its function is to evaluate the plans for all exterior projects, repairs and remodeling. (i.e. decks, fences, replacement roofs, sheds, etc). This committee ensures compliance with all covenants, deed restrictions, and guidelines. Modifications to the exterior of your home and property must be submitted to the ARC for approval before work begins. If work is started without prior approval, the homeowner may be required to alter or remove the changes. This committee is designed to work WITH you and help ensure your updates can be completed within the scope of our Covenants and Deed Restrictions.
We have three amazing volunteers working to keep our neighborhood in pristine condition. Our Architectural Review Committee consists of long-time Meadows West Residents: Marc Sloter, and Doug Leavitt.

2026 MEMBERSHIP DRIVE
2026 Annual Membership Drive will be kicking off on Saturday, February 25th. In lieu of our past practice of sending out a mass-mailer, our wonderful area representatives will be fanning out through the neighborhood to knock on doors and invite everyone to join while letting everyone know about the events that we have planned for the year.
You can also pay you dues via Zelle by scanning the below QR code and following the directions - please remember to put your address in the memo line.

FWPD PATROLLING PARKS
Our NPO, Officer Vasquez, notified us that FWPD is patrolling our parks by bicycle and mounted units. Officer Vasquez is also walking the trails looking for any suspicious activity. Please keep alert and notify the police of any suspicious persons or activity you observe. Exercise caution and consider walking with at least one other person.
DOG OWNERS, Reports of increased number of dogs not on leash while walking increases the potential for problems. PLEASE help keep our neighborhood and park a clean and pleasant place to visit by remembering to keep them on leash and to pick up after your pet when walking them. This will be appreciated by all that enjoy the outdoors.
If you are a Resident of Meadows West please Register with us to receive emails from us on Neighborhood News, Crime News and Neighborhood Events. When registering you have the option to share your information with Association members or keep it confidential.
MEMBERS
Please consider updating your profile so if a neighbor finds your dog or you have a broken sprinkler he/she will be able to let you know. It can also be used to find neighbors in the neighborhood that share similar interests/hobbies.

Mira Vista Fireworks Display
(New)
By Patrick Sheppard on
July 1, 2026
This email just came in from our District # Council Rep., Michael Crane:
"For the first time, Mira Vista Country Club will host a July 4th fireworks display this year. I want you and your neighbors to be aware in advance, since we often receive calls from across the district when fireworks shows take place.
Please share this information with your neighborhood so residents know the display is planned and permitted. The show has been approved by the City under its fireworks regulations and will be conducted by professionals.
Outside of permitted professional shows like this one, all other fireworks are illegal within Fort Worth city limits. Residents who see or hear other fireworks in the area may report them using the City’s non-emergency options rather than calling 911, unless there is an injury, fire, or other emergency.
To report fireworks, do not call 911. You can:
• Call the fireworks hotline at 817-392-4444.
• Report online using the MyFW app.
• File an online report.
FWPD will have additional resources working overtime in every patrol division, prioritizing calls for police response, ensuring adequate resources are available to respond to emergencies and high-priority calls for service.
Have a happy (and safe) 4th of July!
Michael

Subject: Mira Vista Country Club Fireworks Display
Dear Neighboring HOA Board Members and Community Managers,
We wish you a happy holiday weekend from everyone at Mira Vista Country Club!
As a courtesy, we wanted to let you know that we will be hosting a Fourth of July celebration on our driving range featuring a DJ and an evening fireworks display on Saturday, July 4.
The fireworks display is scheduled to begin at 9:15 PM and conclude at approximately 9:30 PM.
The event will take place on the driving range located at the front of the Clubhouse at Mira Vista Country Club.
We understand that fireworks can be unexpected for nearby residents, pets, and those who may be sensitive to loud noises. We wanted to provide advance notice so you can share this information with your residents if you feel it would be helpful.
Our event is being coordinated with the appropriate permits and safety measures in place to help ensure a safe and enjoyable celebration for everyone.
If your residents happen to have a view of the display from their homes, we hope they'll take the opportunity to enjoy the evening with friends and family from the comfort of their own backyards.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Clubhouse at 817-294-6600 or receptionist@miravistacountryclub.com.
We wish you and your community a safe and enjoyable holiday.
Sincerely,
Maci Miller
